Vanish is on a mission to help your clothes live many lives, from loving them for longer with great care and products, to ensuring your pre-loved garments get a second chance at life.

The clothing and textile industry is one of the largest industries in the world and this comes with environmental consequences - 80% of all apparel globally ends up in our landfills each year.

In Aotearoa this equates to around 220,000 tonnes of textile waste annually! We want to play a key part in this conversation, supporting initiatives to help Kiwis embrace sustainable consumption and generate awareness of the impact fast fashion has on our planet and in our landfills.

Together, we can all make a difference by reusing, recycling, and donating clothing where possible to help lessen the environmental impact and help contribute to sustainable practices.

Vanish has partnered with Dress for Success New Zealand since 2021, supporting its mission to empower women to achieve economic independence. We both recognise the value of preloved clothing, and the positive impact these garments can have on someone’s life. Our commitment includes monetary assistance to support Dress for Success’ work as well as marketing and sponsorship support, and providing products and gift bags for various Dress for Success events and initiatives. Additionally, we supply Dress for Success clients with Vanish products, to help them love their work attire for longer and to help Dress for Success affiliate stores across the country to further support their clients on their path to economic independence.

Through initiatives like these, we hope we can help inspire New Zealanders to appreciate their clothing and educate them that with the right care, they can help extend the life of their garments^^Clothes last longer with Vanish* *Pink: At 20°C, on fast cycle vs detergent alone on heavy duty cycle.
